Each dinner features a 4-course meal plus a speaker on various topics ranging from sports, local history, our county, our government, and OUR FAITH. Speakers have ranged from sports figures Lanny Frattare, Greg Brown, Tom Donahoe, and Jim O’Brien to local historians Steve Russell and Trip Cline to elected officials Gene Vittone and Larry Maggi to Linda Ritzer, Kathy Miller, and Father John Marcucci. The speakers have discussed topics as varied as the dinner menu. Each dinner also has a designated charitable purpose. The local food bank, Madonna Catholic, and the Bishop’s Project for the Maguire home are just a few of the many beneficiaries the dinners have HELPED,
Dinners happen eight times a year at 6 p.m. in Marion Hall in Charleroi. Jack’s Pack will host the next dinner on Wednesday, January 18th, in Marian Hall beginning at 6:00 p.m. They are inviting Greg Brown from the Pittsburgh Pirates as the guest speaker. RSVP will be necessary.
